Time to start thinking about Coscon 2014! March 14-16, 2014 will mark our 26th annual spring gaming convention & expo, so mark your calendars now for three days of great gaming fun!

Also, for you GMs out there, you can begin submitting events whenever you like! Registration will open November 30th, 2013, and players *LOVE* it when events are posted as early as possible! If you know what you plan on running, please start working on your schedules now through the end of the year!

The next Monthly Gaming Day will be May 18th from 11am to 5pm at COS HQ (Dave's house) at 312 Old Plank Road, Butler, PA 16002. There is space for 7-8 games.

All games are welcome, such as other RPG, Miniature, & Board games! Please post in the forum here if you are coming and what you would like to run/play so we know where we stand.

Remember as always we need GM's to make this work (or folks to just show up and play board games). We've also added the event to the COS Facebook page if that's easier to spread the word to friends!

Thanks to everyone that helped make Coscon XXV a huge success! We had more events than we've had in a long time, including COSWorld Pathfinder, Living Forgotten Realms, Pathfinder Society, Shadowrun Missions, and Star Wars Living Galaxy; great miniature events like Day 1 of Gettysburg, WWII, Warmachine; four LARPs, and much much more!

Thanks as well to everyone that donated and participated in the Charity Basket Raffles. We had many outstanding items that raised quite a bit of money for Action For Jackson, and it went better than we ever could have hoped!

Finally, thank you to everyone that put in that little bit of extra effort to make the 25th Coscon extremely special! A special thanks to Ron Rummell for doing a ton of advertising and inviting Special Guests Ed & Destini Beard, to Jackie Vrbanic for outstanding cupcakes to celebrate the event, to Bob Kindel for anniversary COS dice, and to you our members that were able to join us! Happy 25th!

The Circle of Swords Gaming Guild was recognized today in an article on Trib Total Media's website. The article provides a great overview of the charity efforts in our communities and for our club members over the years thanks to your help!

It also highlight's Coscon 25's Charity, Action For Jackson, as well as our Food Drive for the Shiloh Food Bank of Pittsburgh. Be sure to bring money for the basket raffles and/or canned goods this weekend to keep the club charity efforts going strong!
