THE AGE OF MAN...

Man brought with him a new understanding, a new power. Man could control his environment. And though Life had created man to help in its war versus Death, Man looked to Fire first.

Fire offered a power that was unlike any other. It offered great destruction if properly commanded. Fire sought to escape its dark prison. Soon man wielded Fire like he would wield a stick.

The other elements suffered greatly but this was nothing compared to that suffered by Life. For Death reveled in this destruction. Each step brought it closer to dominance.

But the other elements then made offers to Man. They gave part of themselves to help counter Fire. Soon Man warred upon himself, and still Death reveled in the destruction.
