I have the Playstation set to pick up wireless signals but the strength isn't strong enough to maintain a steady connection. Can anyone tell me what to do? ------------------------ PS3 controller Xbox 360 Controller 3DS R4

You could run powerline adapters that would allow you to push the network signal over the power outlets in your house via special adapters. However those often have a lot of signal quality issues when going between circuits You could set up a wireless repeater to pick up the wireless signal at a mid-point in the house and re-transmit it. You could replace the antenna on the PS3 with a directional antenna and point it towards the router to get a better signal (I don't really know if this is possible with a PS3, but technically speaking the possibility exists)

You can get a 50ft cat5 cable on amazon for $5 to $10. The biggest issue with running cable is how to run it. Most houses don't have convenient conduit to run through, although ventilation ducts might work. The ethernet over power devices help with that, but they can perform very poorly in some installations
