So, I'm contemplating a new system.

What would you folks consider/suggest as the most popular gaming system, best investment?

wii
xbox 360 (with kinect?)
ps3
or to just get an upgraded gaming computer?

And if you have each gaming systems, what are your pros and cons versus the others?

At this point, its really just down to which games you want to play. Most games get multi-console releases, so you'll see the same titles across all three.

Then again... maybe not buy a wii anyway.

Well, to be honest, I like find myself likeing FPS games the most, and at the same time, strategy games similar to warcraft 3, starcraft, etc; but mostly I like playing against other people because after playing against an AI for a while, ya learn its patterns and the game becomes boring. . . .

oh, and I'm not particularly interested in the Wii, lol, I am more likely to build a new gaming rig if left to myself, but I've been thinking about a console, haven't had one since the original PlayStation ROFL

There is only 1 system. Xbox 360. However, if you have a ton of money then a PC is the way to go. I personally have no interest in PC gaming, but I can understand why many think it is superior. Wii and PS3 are garbage. If you want a Wii, buy an Xbox 360 with a Kinect.

Have to agree that the xbox is probably the best route of the three. PS3 is nice for the blueray and the 2-4 titles that aren't on xbox, but that's about where it ends for me. I like the xbox live setup for multiplayer games, but haven't tested the PS3 yet. Hard drive can be swapped out if the console red rings too.

PC is obviously nicer for multiple reasons, but there's more upkeep and random glitches that can keep a game from working. Console is just pop in the disc and go.

Kevish is on xbox live apparently. I'll let you decide how that sways you, but I'm going to call it a plus just to make Justin feel good.
