With no notice and a short time frame from the Vagabonds and the loss of funds that we are hoping to get back, we were not sure we could pull it off. We looked at about a dozen places that we hoped would work but for various reasons (not available, too little space, no food, no hotel nearby, etc.) none of them worked. We settled on Telsa since it was nearby and had most of what we needed. The problem was it was twice the cost. As most of you know this was not popular with everyone and cost us attendees from a completing club. Since we basically just break even from the cons, income and costs will be an issue in the future that we will need to address if we are to continue which is our plan. Hell, why stop at 60+ cons over the years when new stuff is coming out. My personal thanks to my fellow board members, staff, helpers, DM’s (which we need more), and the players. I think everyone had a good time which is why we do it and try to help the gaming community. A special thanks to Bob “The Dice Man” Kindel from Light Trading Company on his retirement as a vendor (though he will continue to come a DM and player), for being with us for over 30 years. We will keep you up to date here and on the Website circleofswords.com Thanks, and Happy Gaming and see you all soon. Dave
