THE AGE OF MIGHT...

The wars continued and Life weaken. It could not continue to exist under such a heavy burden. And Man's dominance dwindled. Death grew with each day. But Man was not to be underestimated. Man gathered and united itself. It combined the elements and fought Death. For many years the war continued with Man fighting only to hold its own. And Death weakened.

During this period the dragons took it upon themselves to teach the other races and many of the new races became powerful in their new understandings.

After a 1000 years, men became arrogant in their power and felt that they should be dominant among the world. They warred against their teachers and many dragons were destroyed. Finally the dragons asked the elements for help. The elements also felt the damage done the world by the lower races.

The elements rose up against man with the help of the dragons to break the world into pieces. Most men died in the conflict. The elements decided that smaller groups of men were more easy to control so they kept men apart with vast seas of water. Air and water combined so only men in the same area could interact with each other. Some dragons took human form to again teach man but also to watch them. They sent historians to watch men and record their history.

Knowledge of the other areas were lost over the centuries...
